Welcome and thank you for taking the time to check out our school website.

Dooish National School is a vertical primary school located in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal with over 220 pupils from Junior Infants to Sixth Class.

We are lucky to have such a wonderful school community made up of fantastic children, enthusiastic and dedicated staff and very supportive parents.

Our school motto is “Tús Maith Leath na hOibre” which translates to "A Good Start is Half the Work" and this guides us in all we do in school.

The first term was exceptionally busy with many additional activities to extend teaching and learning for our pupils. We are looking forward to continuing this in Terms 2 and 3.
